A Year to Remember!
In 2006, our inaugural year, we were proud to welcome 22 scouts. There were have three dens: Tiger Cubs (1st grade); Cub Scouts (2nd & 3rd grade); and WEBELOS (4th & 5th grade). Scouts worked with their den leaders, parents, and each other towards scout advancement in rank - Tiger, Bobcat, Wolf, Bear, & Webelos.
Eldersville Pack 1354 is proud to be a member of the Mingo Trails District of the Greater Pittsburgh Council of Boy Scouts of America. This past year we have participated in a number of District Scouting events, including: Fall Popcorn sale; Klondike Derby; and the Great Race & Mall Show. We also went to a Washington Wildthings baseball game!
Local activitites included: building a float & marching in the 2007 Eldersville Christmas in the Village Festival Parade; presenting the colors for the local Veterans Day service; participating in the EUMC Scout Sunday Service; having a "Winter Fun Day;" the Pack 1354 Pinewood Derby; hosting a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser; the Blue & Gold Banquet & Cake Auction; and a summer camp out and cross-over ceremony!
Some den activities were: building tool boxes & bird houses; singing; drawing; playing kickball, marbles, crab soccer, indoor "snow ball battles," frisbee... ; campfire building & cooking; sharing collections & stories; and much, much more!
